Dr.Oscar CastilloDPM, ABPMDoctor
Dr. Oscar Castillo graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, he received his training in Bellevue Hospital and specialized in trauma. He is board-certified by The American Board of Podiatric Medicine and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Doctor Castillo received his undergraduate in pharmacology from Stony Brook University. Doctor Castillo worked in the World Trade Center Treatment Program at Mount Sinai dedicated to the care of the World Trade Center volunteers and their vast complications. He has been in practice since 2007. His podiatric interests lie in reconstructive foot surgery, trauma, wound care, biomechanics, diabetic foot care, general podiatric care, and sports medicine. He is fluent in Spanish.
Dr.Robert M. OropallDPM, FACFASDoctor
Dr. Robert Oropall received his podiatric degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1981. He then went on to do his residency in foot and ankle surgery at the Foot Clinics of New York and Maimonides Medical center. He has been in private practice in the Bronx since 1982.
Dr. Oropall is the past director of Podiatry at Our Lady Of Mercy Hospital in The Bronx and is on staff at Montefiore Hospital and Empire Surgical Center.Dr. Oropall is licensed in New York and is a Fellow in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is also a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.Dr. Oropall’s podiatric interests lie in reconstructive foot surgery, trauma, wound care, biomechanics, diabetic foot care, and general podiatric care. He can often be found in the office at 6:30 in the morning attending to his patients needs. When Dr. Oropall is not in the office he enjoys family, golf, tennis, the beach, and travel.
Dr. Jian Zhang graduated from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1996. He then received three years of extensive training at Our Lady Of Mercy Hospital and served as the chief resident in his final year. Dr. Zhang is board certified in foot and ankle surgery as well as Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber treatment and wound care.Dr. Zhang is specialized in forefoot surgery, rearfoot reconstructive surgery, ruptured tendon repair, fracture reduction related to traumas, diabetic wound care, diabetic foot infection, and limb salvage.
